Western and Eastern thought

As I work through Deus Caritas Est I am drawn to consult the little I know of Eastern thought. What is it about the world that still separates us?

What seperates us from the world is ideas.

Ideas that there is a world outside of ME.

Take for example, a peice of paper.

What is paper? Well it is made from trees, no?

So: Paper = Trees

Well, what are trees? They are organism, fueled by the nuclear-furnace called the Sun, along side water from the clouds, and nutrients from the soil.

So: Paper = Trees = Sun = Earth

Well, let's consider the Sun, its not independent of the Univerise, or even Jupiter for that matter -- the whole Solar System is one woven dependent system of self-organization, no?

Paper = Universe...

You are no different, we use nouns when there is no such thing. Everything is intercorrected with everything else.

Ideas seperate man from Truth... there is no seperation!
